Potential

 My eyes wonder until I can tunnel vision to a destination. 

The focus is clear as morning fog near my lake house. 

Sometimes I wonder how I decide my fate, 

Not as easy as finding the prized cheese like a mouse.

If only I can hear the heart beat

That makes mines skip twice,

Then I’d be a fool in love

Who would give all to sacrifice.

Many faces pass but not one is unique.

Life is short yet long enough to discover the thing.

I am not faded by question marks ahead.

I know I’ll find a prince to be my king.
